The upstairs king suite has a panoramic view of the sea through large windows and from a deck across the western side of the home. Two more bedrooms mean you can invite extra friends to join you for your coastal stay. On the main level, a sweeping great room gives you plenty of seating and stellar ocean views. The dining table is supplemented by a breakfast bar in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The kids will claim the game room in the garage as their own private pad. When it’s time to hit the beach, a trail off the lower-level covered deck takes you right down to the sand. You can walk for miles on level beach, reminding you why Rockaway has been a favored destination of vacationers for over a century. The shops, grocery, pub and restaurants of downtown Rockaway are an easy walk from the home, and you can also rent watercraft for cruising, fishing and crabbing the Nehalem River. Drive south to Tillamook’s Creamery for delicious local ice cream, or head north to the exciting towns and beaches of Manzanita, Cannon Beach or Seaside. There’s a lot to see on the North Oregon Coast, and D and D Oceanfront Retreat is a comfortable, roomy launchpad for all your adventures.
